Add a user

Creating a new user
In the Main Menu select "general" then "common managers" and open the "users" manager.
In the "users" manager select the "new" button.
Fill in the Manage user dialog box according to the information received from the office.
Select the "ok" button.
If an internet connection is availible select "yes" in message box. If an internet connection is not availible then select "no".
Activate the user when an internet connction is availible.
Login data can be printed, to do so select the "print" button.

Edit a user

Editing an existing users data
In the Main Menu select "general" then "common managers" and open the "users" manager.
Select the user that you wish to edit.
In the "users" manager select the "edit" button.
Select the "activate" button. Internet connection required.
Select the "ok" button.

Delete a user

Deleting an existing user
In the Main Menu select "general" then "common managers" and open the "user" manager.
Select the user that you wish to delete.
In the "user" manager select the "delete" button.
Select the "ok" button.

Export a user

Saving/exporting an existing users data (export to external file)
In the Main Menu select "general" then "common managers" and open the "users" manager.
Select the user whose data you wish to export.
In the "users" manager select the "edit" button.
Select the "export user" button.
Select the file name and location (extension *.ucfg)
Select the "ok" button.

Default folder for save is Desktop.

Load a user (import)

Load user data (import from external file)
In the Main Menu select "general" then "common managers" and open the "users" manager.
Select the "import user" button.
Select the file name and location (extension *.ucfg) that you wish to load.
Input a new password for the new user
Select the "ok" button.

Loading is not possible if there is another user in database with the same login and password.
All users in the VOYAGER system are predefined by the admin office and must be activated via the internet. If the user was defined in ship's database only then it will not require activation and will not need to register in the system.

A user can also be loaded from an external file if it was already defined and activated by the office.
Each user of the VOYAGER system has his own access level. The user level defines the functions to which the user will have access.
Level specifications:
0 - Minimal access to the system - define new user only (all users can access wit this level)
1 - Not in use
2 - Not in use
3 - Officers
4 - C/Engineer, C/Officer, Electrician
5 - Master
6 - Not in use
7 - Technical manager, Operational manager
8 - ISO/ISM, Designated, Person, Technical Director, General Director, Local administrator
9 - VOYAGER system administrator
