Drawings
A Drawing is a property of a component as well as a part.
For each component and part many drawings can be defined. One of the drawing can be set as the default drawing.
There is no restriction for kind of files. It can be graphic files or PDF files or DWG (AutoCad) files or WORD, EXCEL documents.
A preview is only available for graphic files: BMP, JPG, PNG, PCX, GIF.
To overview other files - double click drawing.
The preview of the drawing is available in the "components manager" window or the "component edit" dialog window.
Each of the drawings can be selected for preview. A drawing in preview the image box is zoomed.
The maximum size of the drawing is defined in program options window. Default maximum size is 256 kB for each drawing.
Drawings recommendations:
- nameplate,
- documentation drawing,
- manual,
- photos,
- other regarding documents

| Drawings operation New, Edit are available form component edit dialog window, Edit, Delete are available from "drawings manager" window. Delete drawing is available for users with access level 7, 8 or 9. |
