Components
There are 2 kinds of the elements in ship's structure: Components and Parts.
Components are main parts of the ship divide system. Components have 2 main functions: representation of the existing ship's elements, organize parts, jobs, reports, work orders, requisition orders. Components are subject of ordering and reporting.
Parts are elements of the components which are subject of supervising, ordering, etc.
Main properties of the Components:
- Numered during configuration process),
- Name English
- Description,
- Manufacturer,
- Device (see devices for details)
- Critical equipment (special care and supervising is concerned with components marked. They can be found in database using property "critical equipment").
- Component type (see component types for details)
- Run hours (see run hours for details)
Main properties of the Parts:
- Number, Name default (entered during configuration process), Name English
- Description,
- Manufacturer (component manufacturer)
- Spare component.
- Quantity in stock, ordered
Common property for component/part are drawings. Each component/part can have drawings. One of this drawings is default drawing. Other drawings can be over viewed selecting from the list. To see drawing in full scale - double click on drawing picture.
The components manager is a window is designed to overview, and manage components and parts.
The components manager has 7 main parts: the components tree, jobs list table for selected component, list of parts for selected component, list of requisition orders for selected component and subcomponents, list of work orders for selected component and subcomponents, component/part details panel, drawings panel.
Edition of the components are available when use buttons from commands panel or context menu.
Edition of the run hours is available when use button "run hours".
Expanding components tree is available - use button "expand tree".
English names column can be hidden - use button "hide english names".
